Fouquet first set up shop in 1852  in the heart of Paris on the rue Laffitte. Starting out he made a name for himself in jams and soon after expanded his reputation to include chocolates and candies.
A second store was opened in Paris in 1926 at 22 rue François 1er located in what would later become known as the golden triangle. At this time, Dior, Chanel, Caron to name a few, had yet to come to this street destinated for prestige. The reputation of FOUQUET for excellence has been maintained throughout the generations. It is based on the tradition : only the finest and purest ingredients are used, and everything is made fresh each day by hand. It is this attention to quality and taste that established the clientele of Fouquet within the French aristocracy over 150 years ago, and that today continues to be appreciated by connoisseurs of chocolate and confectionery around the world. The leading name in industry, politics and entertainment, all look to FOUQUET, for that little something extra that comes from its dedication to refined quality and taste.
