Georges Krivoshey has rediscovered forgotten techniques of painting on silk which were common in the XVIII th century.
He has restored the painted velvet upholstery of the castle of Fontainebleau, made the velvet drapery line for the Manufactures Parisiennes de Peinture and has created a lavish collection of velvet patchworks representing nature scenes as interpreted by Flemish and Italian painters of the XVI th and XVII th centuries. In addition, he works for Christian Lacroix, Louis Féraud, Pierre Balmain,Jean-Louis Scherrer, Christian Dior, etc.
