In 1982, following a 10-year association with Hermès, Jacques Gaultier opened his workshop and his boutique in the Faubourg Saint Antoine, the artisan's quarter par excellence.
He creates custom made or limited series items of astonishing variety: bracelets, earrings, travel bags, hand bags, etc. As one of the foremost saddle smiths in Paris, he restores many pieces, namely for the Vuitton museum. He also works along with decorators.
